Underground coal mechanical engineers' forum

This meeting is held with mechanical engineers at underground coal mines who hold the statutory position of mechanical engineering manager. Inspectors organise and run the meeting to discuss topical issues, give updates on guidelines and standards, discuss published safety alerts, bulletins, investigation releases and relevant incidents and events at mines for the previous three months. This event is an essential part of meeting continual professional development (CPD) requirements for holders of practicing certificates.
